Over 500 people filled out the form saying they were interested in a job and/or investing. The first priority will be in recruiting key software talent (primarily architects) so we can get the building process underway. Expect to hear from us in less than 2 weeks from now if you are in that category.
It would be great to have a wallet key that the user can create. Then he could simply make something he has already memorized his key! Like a physics equation or a line from Macbeth. So easy to retain only in mind, and quite secure, with an easy hint option. Much better than being assigned a random string of words (though that is better than a random string of characters).
I'll be interested if it's possible to add some features:
1. Holdings and transactions should be just as private and un-traceable as cash greenbacks or silver coins. I understand that the government has an interest in collecting taxes and preventing crimes, but the users also have an interest in privacy for all legal activities. The monetary system should prioritize the needs of the users, over the needs of the government.
2. If the Internet goes down, it should be possible to access the system by surface mail or carrier pigeon.
3. Tokens should ideally represent some tangible, real-world value. Perhaps the digital currency could represent gold, or a basket of commodities, or energy, or labor. Yet its value should not rely on a single guarantor, but a distributed system of trust. I want stable purchasing power, not wild speculative volatility.
No. Do not attempt to create a new token, it won't work, your investors will lose their money, and you'll at best run off with proceeds of a scam and discredit yourself and your writings. The fact you think you can create a new monetary network is already an indictment of your understanding or your character or both. There is one genuine decentralized autonomous protocol already, and if there could (improbably) be a second, it's incredibly unlikely yours will be it. VC blockchains are inherently scams. Learn this now or later, but you've already lost respectability proposing this idea.

Any new developments? Could you kindly provide an update since I am very keen on getting involved (having been among those first 500) ?
Any updates?
Any updates Steve?
Is this project still alive? Although <100ms global finality is impossible, I believe fast, scalable and secure blockchain can be developed.
Very Eeenteresting!! More pls
Are you able to give an idea of how your bitcoin investments are faring? I'm considering since it's looking rather dim out there.

Don't do this.
Go Steve!
Two weeks have passed. Any updates, Steve? I'd like to help build this.
Let's go, Steve, Let's go. https://www.bcmindustries.com/post/introducing-tod-5120-the-world-s-most-advanced-supercomputer
Cheers Steve, I'm not in a position to work at the startup but I'm keen to beta-test and buy in to the coin once it's up and running.
I want to study the mathematics behind crypto. Where would be a good place to start?
Will this be built on top of an existing blockchain? Also will there be future hiring opportunities?
NEXO just opened a project incubator. They're well funded and licensed. Might be worth applying:
